As part of your premium inspection package your appliances have been enrolled in a service called Centriq. Since 1974, by law, American citizens have been protected from dangerous items in their homes. If a manufacturer has designed a dangerous product, they MUST recall all those items and FIX THEM FOR FREE! The problem with the law is that most often its up to the consumer to find out whether their appliances are potential fire or safety hazards! There is a database online, but you would have to search through over 200 million recalled items to find out if your dishwasher or air conditioner is a potential hazard. As a result, many of these dangerous appliances are still in homes across America and Canada. Fortunately, Centriq can do this job for you. Centriq is a home inventory and maintenance platform designed to monitor for recalls and to help you get knowledge about the items in your home. As part of your inspection, we added the appliances and systems from the home into the Centriq app. These are being checked for recalls and you will receive a Centriq Recall Report via email within 48 hours. Centriq also includes an app which can be the start to your home inventory as well as a digital user manual for your home. The Centriq account includes manuals, parts, and support videos for the items that were added from the inspection. If you need to add to the inventory, you can do so by accepting the app and continuing to add items. When you accept the Centriq account, you will be notified if a recall is announced for any monitored items that were added or that you add going forward. This is a Centriq Expert account valued at $59.99 for a year subscription. If you choose not to renew in a year, you will not be billed and you can keep everything that you have added in the app up to that point. However, you may run into limitations with some features or addng items if you choose not to upgrade. You will receive two emails from Centriq: Property Transfer Email - The first email is to accept the pre-loaded Centriq home inventory account. It is from support@centriqhome.com and the subject is: "Invitation for [your address] in Centriq". This email is regarding the resulting home inventory created based on the appliances and systems that were added in the app during the inspection. Learn more about Centriq here: https://mycentriq.app.link/features-in-centriq Property Recall Report Email - The second email is regarding the report which gives you details about the items in the home and whether or not any of the items have been flagged for a recall. You can click the button that says "Property Report" to see the report. Note: Appliances were tested by turning them on briefly. We do not perform extensive testing of timers or thermostats; and, we make no report regarding the effectiveness of any appliances.
